The ELDO residual current device will instantaneously detect a current imbalance or earth leakage that may occur within the electrical distribution system. The ELDO will trip the associated circuit breaker, by means of a seperate shunt trip fitted to the breaker and isolate the supply to create a safe condition.

The ELDO residual current device can be mounted on its own bracket or can be directly clipped into any Q Series chassis, either in single fashion or next to the Quicklag circuit breakers. In either formation, the two units are fitted as seperate components. Each ELDO comes complete with a comprehensive instruction sheet detailing installation and connection information. A remote test facility is also available.
